printing via appletalk

1. Go to the Apple Menu and select the chooser. Below is the Chooser window.
   
   
   
   
   
2. In the upper left-hand pane, scroll down and select (click once) the LaserWriter 8 icon. Next select the AppleTalk zone (the lower left-hand pane) that corresponds to the location of your office [if you are unsure of your zone, you may find it by opening the AppleTalk control panel]. Now select the printer you want from the right-hand pane and click the "Create" button (printers are usually named relavent to their respective locations).
   
   
   
   
   
3. When you click the "Create" button, you will see the following dialog:
   
   
   
   
4. When the computer completes the printer setup, there will be a printer icon next to the printer's name in the Chooser window. Now quit the Chooser.
   
   
   
   
5. When you quit the Chooser you will see a printer icon on your desktop. The black heavy outline around it indicates that it is your default printer.
